The short shifter is designed to reduce fore/aft and side to side shifter throws for reduced shift effort. Simple bolt on install with common tools, NO DRILLING! Combine it with the shifter bushings and shifter cable bushing set for the ultimate shifter assembly!

      Direct bolt on, no mods to OEM parts are required for installation. Shorter, tighter throws than OEM. Very high quality hardware and parts, make for perfect fit.

      Not sure where you are coming from with this comment. This kit is a considerable amount less than a full short shifter modification (not just a "few clams"). There is a definite decrease in shift throw from OEM, you will notice that even a full shifter replacement will not make shift throws any shorter, the only difference you would notice is the length of the shifter. With that said, I'm not surprised you had difficulty installing this kit...

      Also, I have to thank Strut King on the outstanding service I have continuously received from Strut King (thanks "K"). Email responses and customer service are infact freakishly fast!! *PROPS*

      these adaptors are very good for its price. its a nice alternative for a shifter box. installed easily on my RSX, and instantly felt the shorter throws.

      i recommend intalling this with the cable bushings to get the maximum effect of the short shifter.

      I saw the price was better than the alternative (non-adapter), and clicked away. It doesn't fit perfectly into my car (EM2 Civic) which might by why I'm dissatisfied, but with the non-adapter being only a few dollars more I wish I would've forked out the extra clams. It doesn't seem like it has any dramatic decrease in throw, and was not as easy to install as it seemed.
